Ok, so Friday was weird but fun. We met up with our loooong lost friend Sunny. I didn't see him the last time he was out here, and he told me about the script they just wrote and the story sounds brilliant. So Sunny has been very busy and it sounds great..I don't know if it was worth giving up the band, cause i never heard them play :P
He's also still one of the most gorgeous guys I've seen. I love his features (he's half native Indian, half Indian :) and enjoy staring at his face :D
Anyway, so Sunny put us on the list for Area, I think we were 9 people, i was playing wing man for Xavier and shaking my as to the most horrible dj at mixing (20-30s after each song started, he'd mix in the new one), so we waited for my friend Francesco Valentino to arrive with his friends, did some catching up and then went to some place called Arena??
We got there at 32 or 3 and in for free, but after debating where to buy booze when practically everything shuts down at 2a.m. we figured it was a lost cause.
Jeff, had taken the car, so he dropped off Sunny, Xavier, Som & co, thank you Jeff! :)
Saturday I was home at 4.30. I got up at 9.45 for the bike ride. Jared couldn't get the day off, otherwise I could have hugged him all day on the bike..bummer :D
Joel's friend Leo, had gotten back on Thursday and was up for a spin before he had to take off on the NIN tour - so so much for me hoping to see some of the guys :/
Anyway, the bike ride, started from Olympic BLVD to Santa Monica on the Pacific Coast Highway to Mullholland Drive, then through the Topanga canyon, where we stopped at the famous Rock Store
and finally back through Malibu.
It was the most brilliant 6 hours I could imagine. I'm in love with motorbikes.
I was Leo's first passenger, but it didn't feel that way :D
We ended up tagging each other and racing each other home which was so much fun. I felt like a child in Disneyland :D
Saturday night, Galeb, Omar, Jeremy and me went to the Paramount Rocks gig that G got free tickets for.
It was way better than we anticipated and I got lots of close ups on Dave Navarro.
At one point when he was looking at me, I offered him a cigarette and he nodded, but when he took it he looked at it and asked me what it was, so I held up the cigarette pack and he then gave me back my cigarette :P
Guess my cigarettes would have made him look like a fag :D
After the gig, I couldn't get a pic with Dave, which was a shame, but we had a good laugh.
We then went to Temporary Spaces which turned out to be the perfect deep bouncy house music and I added it to one of the top 10 dancing experiences I've had!!
Galeb and me danced until nearly 2a.m. and then we headed out to Xavier's party/dj thing somewhere in Silverlake.
To sum things up, cause i have no idea how things even got started, but Crsytal and me started making out and liked it a lot. I *think* the next thing was that everyone was trying to take pictures, so we sai that if they want pictures, Som and Jeff need to kiss.
After a lot of evasion Som and Jeff kissed and I squealed in delight. They had to repeat it two times more, because I didn't get my snapshot ;)
Juliet, Crystal and me agreed that we three girls would kiss them. I'm sure they were happy :P
I'm not sure when the cops came, must have been around 4a.m. but we were taking off to Xavier's place in Pasadena.
The night ended around 6a.m. for us I think and it was a looong drive back.
Saturday, Jeff took me to Venice beach and we ate breakfast at 4p.m. at the Sidewalk cafe while everyone was having burgers :P
Venice looks nice but I'm not fan of all the tourist "attractions", so I'm satisfied to have seen it all, but I prefer the quieter or more secluded beaches..
Jared was here when we got back and my phone was dead otherwise I'd have rushed back here, had I known!
Timing was not right with that many people around, so so much for having the talk. He had been working since 9a.m. so he was pretty beat I'm sure.
Anyway, that's as far as the update goes, pictures will be on facebook, will make an effort to upload them to Flickr too.
Tonight, I will see a favourite band called Ours at On the Roxy. I hope I won't be disappointed!
