Removing relationship status on facebook

Dear Facebook,

I have mailed you three times about this (and other numerous points..)
When people remove their relationship status and don't tick the box "do not post a news feed when i remove information from my profile", it shows up like this

Obviously and most commonly, people remove their status as they don't know if they feel comfortable sharing this information and having people asking, but it's even more embarrassing when other people assume that your relationship ended whatever it was - or how shit it was, due to no longer

Fixez-le s'il vous plaît

The quick fix: Go into Settings > News feed and wall > Uncheck the box "Remove Profile Info" under Actions visible to friends

Best regards,
Jasmin Fischer

Hmm even going to Settings >> Privacy Settings >> News Feed and Wall, then uncheck the "Change Relationship Status" still makes a news feed post when you change your relationship status? That's interesting.. I don't remember it doing that after I unchecked the box and made a change to my relationship status. Crazy Facebook indeed..

No, that works! I did that ages ago when I saw exactly *this* happen on a friend's page and it doesn't.

Just added it to the post as a friend asked me how to change this 10min ago :)

Its still a design error, but depends on what you consider to be the greater evil :D
